What is PDW?
Professional Development Week (PDW) is an annual conference hosted by a different Canadian pharmacy school each year. This four-day conference brings pharmacy students together from across the country to network, apply their practical skills and expand their knowledge on various health care topics. Attending PDW is most definitely a memorable experience for students get to learn outside of the classroom, establish professional relationships with other future pharmacists and become enriched by the culture of the host city!
PDW is also an opportunity to meet CAPSI’s National General Council members in person, participate and run in the elections for executive council positions, compete in professional development competitions and participate in the “Pharmafacts” bowl, and meet inspirational pharmacists who are leaders in their field.
