About Canada
Canada is a very large country stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. We are the second largest country in the world made up of ten provinces and three territories. With a population of only 33,200,000 (July 2008 est.) there is plenty of room for visitors!
As you can see the size of Canada is incredible! Since our SEO may live on the opposite end of the country it may not be possible for our SEO to meet you personally but… don’t worry! We have Local IPSF Representatives and pharmacy students in each province and they will be more than happy to welcome you into Canada. No matter what city you are placed in we will ensure your stay here is a memorable one.

Working in Canada
In order to practice in Canada, pharmacists must be licensed by passing the national exam administered by the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) as well as a licensing exam specific to the province the pharmacist wishes to practice in. To work in the Province of Quebec, it is not necessary to pass the PEBC, but you have to speak French and to make at least 600 hours internship in Quebec and to pass the law exam, depending where you graduated. You might have to take specific courses. For further info, go to www.opq.org. Information for both US and international graduates is available at the PEBC site.
