CAPSI promotes and represents the interests of Canadian pharmacy students. We also serve to prepare students as professionals that are ready and willing to provide the best health care possible within pharmacy’s realm of expertise. We encourage our members to enhance the profession of pharmacy by providing them with several competitions and events to develop their skills.

Textbook Sales

Back to School Social
To welcome the incoming pharmacy class, CAPSI holds a social during Phrosh. Students also receive exclusive CAPSI merch to get them excited for upcoming CAPSI initiatives throughout the year!

CAPSI Competitions
Throughout the year CAPSI hosts a variety of competitions for students to develop and showcase their skills. These include Compounding, Patient Counselling and Over The Counter competitions. The winners on the local level then go on to represent UofT at the National level.

Pharmacist Awareness Month
Every year during March the Undergraduate Pharmacy Society (UPS) and CAPSI bring students a variety of events and activities to support PAM. Most importantly, we create opportunities for students to advocate for the pharmacy profession both on campus and in the community. For instance, pharmacy students would visit public schools and community pharmacies to teach students and/or the public about specific topics.

Torontos Next Top Pharmacist
Contestants will battle it out in a series of challenges, and showcase their wonderful talents, to win the hearts of our judges! Each participant competes for the charity of their choice and ultimately, only ONE will be crowned Toronto’s Next Top Pharmacist! The winner then goes on to compete nationally at PDW.
